On Sunday the 18th of June, Kinetic Foundation held their 6th annual Football Fest at Dulwich College Tank Fields, providing something for everyone including football, a bouncy castle, a tombola and BBQ to name a few!

Attracting more people than ever before, the event was a great success with 36 teams competing in the 5 a side tournament across three age groups, Reception/Year 1, Year 2/Year 3 & Year 5/Year 6. All three tournaments were organised and officiated by Kinetic’s Academy players and volunteers.

In scorching temperatures, the Kinetic boys’ hard work, starting early in the morning and finishing late in the afternoon is testament to what we do at Kinetic and we are extremely proud of all of them and grateful for their relentless efforts during the day, helping all aspects to run smoothly.

Tournament organiser, James Fotheringham said, “It’s great to have so many people turn up on the day and we’re humbled that they have made the effort to come and support us by making generous donations and entering teams for the tournament. Without the kind backing from our supporters, we would not be able to impact young peoples lives in the way that we do, so we are extremely grateful on days like this to have so many people promote our work”.

With some extremely high quality football played across all three age groups, all matches were action packed and not lacking in drama or goals!

We would like to say a huge congratulations to our tournament winners in each age group:

Reception/Year 1: Dorchester Allstars

Year 2/Year 3: DC 7

Year 4/Year 5: Top Tekkerz

We would also like to say thank you to Dulwich College for the use of their venue as well as all parents, players and volunteers for helping to make the day a huge success.
