It’s an exciting time for Kinetic alumni; Joe Aribo, Josh Maja and Marvin Armstrong who are all currently excelling at different levels of football since graduating from Kinetic Academy.

Joe Aribo (pictured left), who not only made his international debut for Nigeria this week, also scored his first international goal in the same game, which puts him on an elite list of Nigerian players that have scored on their international debut.

In addition, Josh Maja (pictured centre) also got called-up by Super Eagles’ coach Gernot Rohr to play for Nigeria in their friendly against Ukraine. Via the Super Eagles YouTube channel, Josh had this to say: “I am delighted to get my first call-up for Nigeria, this is a big opportunity to show the fans and staff what I can do. I am going to work my hardest and give my quota to make my family, fans and coaches proud.”

The Twittersphere is buzzing too with the news of Marvin Armstrong (pictured right) who plays for Worthing FC.  Up against Hastings United in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup the match went into extra time with Marvin heading in the all important winning goal from six yards out, sending Worthing FC through to the second qualifying round.  Worthing 3 – Hastings United 2!

Hugely proud of Joe, Josh and Marvin and all our Kinetic alum who are continuing to pursue their ambitions in both football and further education.
