Tuesday the 11th of April marked the return of our annual Deutsche Bank visit. We took a selection of our Academy players on the trip, where they were able to participate in a variety of activities over the course of the visit.

On arrival we were greeted with great pleasure and started the day with a workshop with the organisation 2-3 Degrees, who aim to inspire young people to make positive decisions relating to their careers and general life. The boys participated in activities relating to self-image and confidence, discussing their aspirations for the future and how those goals can be obtained.

Following the workshop, the boys took a break and were given a tour of the building. This included viewing some of the impressive art work placed throughout the building, various departments and pure scale of the building itself.

The final part of the day gave the chance for our Academy boys to pick the brains of various staff members within Deutsche Bank’s organisation from different departments. Able to offer extensive advice, many of the boys asked questions relating to their life experiences and daily routines within a global organisation.

After a most enjoyable and productive day was had by all, we hope that our players left feeling heavily inspired and motivated to achieve their individual future goals, with some further strategies in place in order to do so.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Deutsche Bank for their tremendous hospitality and also to 2-3 Degrees for their excellent help and advice during the day.
