On Friday the 9th of June, Kinetic marked the end of the 2016/17 football season with our end of year presentation evening at our new venue, Croydon Football Club.
With all age groups from Under 10 through to U18 having extremely progressive and successful seasons, we had plenty of awards to hand out.
Highlights of the season included;
- Our U10’s victory in their first ever cup final!
- League Cup finals from both our U14 and U16’s (with the U16’s winning 4-0!)
- Our U16’s reaching the Surrey Cup final
- The U18’s incredible run in the FA Youth Cup (knocked out by League 2 side, Yeovil)
- Our U16’s cruised to victory in the Tandridge Youth League.
- U14’s finishing runners up in their league by just 1 point.
- U18’s finishing runners up their league also by just 1 point.
We would like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to all managers; Matt Capon (U10), Kyle Bernard (U14), Adam Knight (U16) and Callum Mcfarlane & Harry Hudson (U17 & U18) for their achievements and tireless hard work this season.
With each team having come on leaps and bounds in such a short time, we are excited to find out what some of these boys can achieve next season.
