Kinetic was privileged to attend an open evening at City Hall, hosted by The Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), to see how youth projects across the capital can help to shape the future of London for the benefit of future generations.
Up to 200 young people, including 5 lads from Kinetic Academy, were invited to take part in a variety of workshops held on the night and experience a whole range of market stalls that showcased a range of exciting opportunities for youth involvement; as well as hear from the guest speaker, Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
As an influential youth project in South London, the event gave Kinetic a platform to reach out and propose projects that contribute to the aims of the VRU. It was a thought provoking and productive evening. Watch out for more news soon!
