It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed trustee, Mike Dodds, who left us on July 30th. Mike joined our foundation three months ago and made an indelible mark with his extensive experience in marketing and advertising. His contributions during his short tenure were transformative and have set a new direction for our organisation.
Mike’s passion for our mission was evident from the moment he joined us. He tirelessly worked to repurpose our marketing materials, introduced us to invaluable new contacts, and spent countless hours revitalising our activities. His energy, creativity, and dedication have left a lasting legacy that we will continue to build upon.
Beyond his professional expertise, Mike was a wonderful colleague and had established already lasting friendships with many of us. His warmth, generosity, and willingness to share his knowledge made him a cherished member of our community. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working with him.
In honour of Mike’s memory, we are committed to continuing the work he was so passionate about. We are exploring ways to commemorate his contributions and we invite our community to join us in celebrating Mike’s life and the significant impact he made in such a short time.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Mike’s family during this difficult time. We are grateful for the time we had with him and for all that he shared with us.
