The Kinetic Foundation have teamed up with Snow Media and Swedish tech giant Sportswik to offer a unique 18 month sports journalism apprenticeship package.

Sportswik is a social media app and media platform for sport which has just opened its UK base in Croydon. The company is on a programme of introducing the app into British participation team sport – initially football by introducing it into teams, clubs and leagues.

Key info:

  • Offices of Snowmedia and Kinetic Foundation based in Croydon, but will be required to work away from the office on projects and in a sporting environment as part of their role.
  • The role requires flexible hours and some weekend working on a rota basis.
  • The contract will be over an 18-month period on a full-time basis (35 hours per week)
  • Rate of pay £8,190 per annum.
  • Four weeks paid holiday
  • Two days classroom-based learning per month working way from the workplace working towards completion of industry recognised NCTJ (National Council for Training of Journalists) foundation qualification.
