Former Kinetic graduate, Yeboah Amankwah carries on impressing staff at Manchester City just months after signing his first professional contract.
Academy staff describe Yeboah as an extremely coachable and exciting player to work with, as he is always willing to learn regardless of how steep of a learning curve it has been, bringing his experience from Kinetic into the Etihad.
Yeboah praises Kinetic for the help we have given him.
“When I went to Kinetic, I was back fit and there were some coaches there that really helped me. I’d be doing extra sessions, getting to training two hours early – we’d be training at 12 and I’d get there at 10 and train with the coach, then have actual training with the team, then train after that for another hour. They helped me a lot and that’s what made the difference in the end.”
What a remarkable journey it has been for Yeboah, who has gone from park football to signing a professional contract for City. We hope that he keeps impressing staff and we hope his meteoric rise gets him an appearance in the foreseeable future.
