We are very proud to announce that the Croydon FC Youth Team has secured a place in the third round of the FA Youth Cup. With some 1200 youth teams starting, Croydon FC is one of the last non-league teams remaining of the 64 teams left in this year’s tournament, which is a superb achievement.
To secure their third-round place Croydon FC had to play several qualifying rounds, which were promptly followed by two great performances in the first two rounds of the FA Youth Cup, where they beat Averley 1-0 in the first round and Bath City 2-0 in the second round.
Round three will see the Croydon FC Youth Team playing away to Championship team, Wigan Athletic, on Tuesday, 17 December and we all have our fingers crossed for a win.
