SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT!
We’re delighted to announce that Jake Tones has signed for Sutton United and becomes our 60th signing to a professional club that has been on our academy programme. We’re proud that we could play a part in supporting his development and journey.
Jake Tones: “I just want to thank Kinetic Foundation for the work they have put in to help me receive this contract. A special thanks to all coaches on the journey especially Eddie Munnelly and Dan Hogan, they pointed out my weaknesses and took their time and effort to work on them with me and improve them for me and this why I am here today. Thank you to all staff and coaches for backing me and seeing the potential in me to work on me and get me further in the game.”
Eddie Munnelly, Head of Kinetic Academy Coaching: “Jake came into us with a good technical base and ability for a wow moment during games. He has worked on the defensive side of his game and his understanding of off the ball movements to make him a better rounded midfield player. He has developed more belief to drive at back lines and take responsibility in the final third, scoring some important goals for us in the latter part of the season. We wish Jake all the best at Sutton United and hope to see him knocking on the door of the first team in the next 18 months!”
