4 Kinetic girls were given the exciting opportunity of being Visa UK ball kids at the Women’s Euros 2022 thanks to our partnership with Sported UK.

Alissia and Purity were at Brighton & Hove Community Stadium for England vs. Norway while Stella and Jannah were at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton for England vs. Northern Ireland. It was an amazing experience which they all thoroughly enjoyed.

“Currently only 63% of girls can play football in PE Lessons…”

We will be working with the Harris Federation to provide free football for all aspiring female footballers at our partner schools in London. We look forward to playing our part in inspiring Lionesses of the future through the recent introduction of girls football to the Kinetic Foundation Academy, where we aim to not only encourage participation but increase opportunities for girls playing football.

James Fotheringham, Kinetic Co-Founder: “We’re delighted to announce this funding and at such an amazing time for women’s football. We had 107 girls take part in the pilot before the UEFA Women’s Euros and we hope to double the participation across 5 locations of London in the next academic year”

Ian Wright: “If girls are not allowed to play football, just like the boys can in their PE lessons after this tournament then what are we doing? We’ve got to make sure that they are able to play and get the opportunity to do so!”
