Last week saw the end to Academy Manager Calum McFarlane’s 6 year stay with Kinetic where he has overseen our growth to one of the most recognised Academies in the UK.
Arriving in 2014 to a group of 40 full-time players at one school site, he leaves with the Academy looking after the development of 200 16-19 year olds across 7 projects. We have achieved an incredible 44 professional signings to date, and the majority of our successes have been under Calum and Harry’s guidance.
Calum leaves Croydon to join Manchester City as Coach of their U15 squad. We are of course sad to see him leave, but must celebrate his time with Kinetic and how one of our own grassroots coaches can progress straight into one of the best Academies in the country. Well done Calum.
