Former Academy skipper Rhys Norrington-Davies played 90 minutes for his Wales U21 side against top of the table Romania.
In a feisty game, Romania had 2 men sent off before the final whistle in what was an entertaining goalless draw.
What a remarkable journey for Rhys, who this time last year was playing in an FA Youth Cup fixture against Yeovil Town as an unsigned schoolboy.
Rhys now is on the books of Championship side Sheffield United and we hope his meteoric rise gets him an appearance in the second tier of English football this season.
