An early start for the Academy on Saturday 15th March saw the boys embark on the long trip to Peterborough.

Playing a mix of u15-17s, we started the game with great intensity and created a lot of chances down our left hand side with great interplay between Wesley and Kassim. The boys switched play extremely well and looked a big threat early on. We took the lead with the same boys combining down the left and Kas smashed home from a great ball inside the full back. Ryan Kan in goal didn’t have much to deal with but when called upon did everything with 100% care and precision.

After half time we doubled the lead when a recycled corner was turned home by Bradley Wilson. Two became three soon after when a through ball was rushed onto by Raoul who was taken down by the keeper but a great advantage by the referee allowed Brite to slot home from 10 yards. Peterborough pulled one back when a good move down the left enabled a great cross which was cooly slotted home.

Raoul finally got his goal when some great individual skill on the edge of the box created an opening and he smashed home with aplomb.

In the closing moments Peterborough scored a consolation goal to finish the game 4-2 in a game we dominated from start to finish.

A great performance from Kinetic Academy against an academy set up truly shows the quality we have in our ranks.

3 boys will now travel to Peterborough for a scholarship trial. We wish them the best of luck.
