Our community netball sessions at Thornton Heath Netball Club still run on three nights during the week that you can get involved in! FREE OF CHARGE OR AT MINIMAL COST.
Venue: Thornton Heath Leisure Centre
Monday: 5-7pm, 12-16 year olds, FREE
Thursday: 8-10pm, 16+ year olds (open) FREE
Friday: 6-7:30pm, 16-30 year olds, £2 contribution
These sessions are a great way to either improve your general health and fitness, take up a new sport, meet new friends or advance your playing abilities if you’ve played before, with opportunities to progress in to a team for the club.
The sessions, run by Felicity Dickinson (a level 2 qualified netball coach and full time teacher), are structured in a way so that participants can progress steadily, addressing various aspects of the sport including technique, fitness and tactics.
So whatever your reason for getting active in the build up to 2017, try our community netball sessions and feel the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.
