As part of our partnership with the Real Madrid Foundation (established in 2019 for promoting sports and education activities in London) and their partnership with the UPS Foundation, who support Real Madrid Foundation across Spain, Romania, Portugal and the United Kingdom. We used football to bring us altogether to celebrate the collaboration and the common goal of helping young people get the chance to enjoy education in values through sport.
Each of the 10/12 teams had at least one UPS employee allocated to them in the 6 a-side volunteering tournament. We find that these football volunteering day’s uses football to immediately break down any barriers between our young people and the other individuals taking part in the event.
After a very competitive few hours of action, one of our Kinetic teams from Harris Academy South Norwood were crowned Champions!
