Kinetic Girls Summer Tournament 2026

On Thursday 9th July, we brought together over 100 girls from schools across London for our annual Girls Tournament, enjoying a brilliant day of football, fun and unforgettable memories.

The 7-a-side competition saw Harris Academy Beulah Hill crowned Trophy winners, while Graveney School retained the Plate for the second year running. Alongside the football, we also recognised individuals with awards including Player of the Day, Best Team Vibes, Best Team Player, Most Skillful and The Kinetic Award.

The day was about much more than the results on the pitch. Players had the opportunity to take part in warm-up and mobility sessions, learn about weightlifting and gym techniques, receive physiotherapy support from Bevery Pokuah and the Strong Girl team, and enjoy a creativity zone where they made keychains and bracelets to take home.

We were also delighted to welcome Karesha Iton, current Chatham Town FC player and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines international, who joined us to present the trophies and medals. Karesha also shared her journey in football and offered advice and encouragement to the girls. Having role models like Karesha at events like this helps inspire the next generation of girls to believe in what they can achieve both on and off the pitch.

Events like these are only possible through collaboration. Thank you to every player, coach and school who took part, Bevery and the Strong Girl team, Karesha Iton, Rosie Crampin from Veo Technologies for capturing the action, Rhea Spencer-Newell for the fantastic photography, Top Trumps for providing packs of cards for the girls to take home and of course our incredible Kinetic staff whose hard work before and during the tournament made the day such a success.

Together, we're continuing to create opportunities for more girls to play football, build confidence and realise their potential.
