“Encouraging positive change through the power of football”
Kinetic Girls Academy Manager, Tyra Mills, was invited to be a panelist at the Premier League Charitable Fund Equality, Diversity and Inclusion conference held at Molineux Stadium.
The panel discussion point of “Encouraging positive change through the power of football” is exactly what our mission at Kinetic Foundation is as we engage young people through football and develop their confidence, skills and capabilities to reach their potential.
Tyra Mills: “I was extremely ecstatic to be asked to attend as a panellist alongside Troy Deeney (Professional Footballer at Birmingham City), Wes Morgan (Former Professional Footballer) and Allison Tripney (Head of Community at Leicester City). It was an amazing experience and opportunity to speak about my experiences within sport on stage. It was also great to hear from Elliott Rae, Kerry Downes, Liz Ward and many more. Do not be afraid to just listen to the young people. You’ll understand and learn more about the young person you’re trying to engage!”
