We travelled up to Loughborough University, voted Sports University of the Year 2022, to play a game against their U19 Development Squad which was followed by a personalised tour of the very impressive facilities including the Olympic Swimming Pool and Powerhub training facility. Our young people then got to hear about the football programme and the various routes onto the programme.

Martin Prickett, Kinetic School Partnership Manager: “It was a great day and the boys played really well against a good level opponent. At Kinetic, we’re always looking to provide enriching opportunities for our young people and using football as the vehicle to do that. We’re committed to exposing our young people to the best possible experiences to motivate them to push themselves both on and off the pitch. I’m sure that by visiting this elite learning environment, it has done exactly that for them and some of this group make their way into Loughborough’s programme in the future!”
