We’re only just coming to the end to May but some early transfer news to bring you ahead of the new football season. Kinetic Academy graduate Richard Asamoah has signed for step 3 club Billericay Town FC.
The 20 year old scored 16 goals in 27 games for Waltham Abbey last season and 14 goals/6 assists two seasons ago which has seen Richard attract interest from several EFL clubs including Gillingham, Colchester United, Stevenage and Southend United.
Speaking on the move, Richard said: “I’m excited to kick on, I’ve had a word with the manager and my agent, who told me about the plans here at Billericay. So I’m really excited to see what I can do at the club and hopefully take us up another step. It’s a big club and I’ve seen the players they’ve brought in so it’s exciting to be a part of it!”
